💡 Start early at the Mezquita (best light, fewer queues), have a local lunch around 2pm and end at the Roman Bridge at sunset. In summer avoid walking between 2 and 6pm — take refuge in shaded patios and taverns. Need to tailor it? Ask Anu at /asistente.
💡 Walk slowly: the narrow lanes reveal patios, flowers and fountains at every step. Enter the Mezquita first thing to avoid groups. Check current opening hours before going.
💡 In May, during the Patios Festival, guided routes are offered and many patios open free. Outside May, San Basilio keeps year-round patios. Best mid-morning: good light, not yet hot.
💡 Córdoba at night is another city: the Roman Bridge and Calleja de las Flores glow quietly. Dine at a historic tavern before crossing the river. Wear comfortable shoes — the cobblestones are slippery.
💡 Ideal with kids: start at the Royal Stables, cool down in the Alcázar gardens and leave the zoo for the afternoon. Bring water, a cap and rest in the shade. In hot weather, do it in the morning.
