Water, gardens and baths

Water was the soul of the Andalusi city: in patios, fountains, baths and gardens.

Historical context

Channels, waterwheels and cisterns supplied neighborhoods and mosques. Public baths (hammams) served social, religious and therapeutic roles. The patios, Roman and Andalusi heritage, cooled the houses.

What remains today

Today you can experience it in the Patios, the Caliphal Baths and modern hammams.

Tips for the visitor

Book a hammam session and visit the Patios in May.
